      First LUCID dream!!!!! WHOOOT!!!

I just had to say this before I went to class guys. I just wanna scream it to the whole world... it was so amazing. :yumdumdoodledum: A lot of action, levitation, sword-fighting, and even a scene in a theme park. When I get out of classes I'll put more details about my first lucid experience.

Thank EVERYONE in this site for helping me achieve this first lucid experience, and a special thanks to seeker for answering my countless questions. By the way, has anyone heard of him lately? I haven't seen him post anything for a while...

      Re: Good luck

for any of you bored enough to read this, heres a quickie on my first lucid experience...

I was on a room, talking to 3 other people. I realized I was dreaming simply because everything felt different. (I had two other dreams that same night, so I felt somewhat used to the "dream" feeling). They were still talking as I decided to levitate and do a backflip... then I told them I was dreaming. They were obviously extremely surprised. This got me somewhat anxious/excited, so I walked away and started rubbing my hands to make sure I wouldn't wake up.

Afterwards I decided to fly to meet a girl at the same place where I had met her on a previous dream that same night. What I encountered howver was a teken-style melee fighter inside an arena that started battling me. I was able to kill him (with some melee weapon), as well as the next guy that appeared on the next round. After that, about 5 to 7 other fighters started flying towards me with javelins and halberds with the intent to kill me. Although I knew I was dreaming, I was afraid of how bad it would hurt, so I tried to run away. They were catching up to me very quickly, and then I realized "hey, this is MY dream, I can do whatever I want," so I made the time be extremely slow motion. Then I was able to escape the arena to a river nearby. I started swimming and found some "ninja-turtle-theme-park-looking boats" while swimming away on the river. I got on the boats and the whole scene started changing to a theme-park-like setting.

At that time I realized I missed my girlfriend which I haven't seen for sometime. I closed my eyes and tried to picture her, with the hopes that when I opened them, she would be there... however, I simply woke up when I opened my eyes.

It has taken me over 2 months from the time I really got interested in lucid dreaming to the time I had my first lucid dream. The majority of people have their first lucid dream a lot quicker from what I hear. However... I must say, even having taken 2 months, that was probably the best time investment I have had in a loooong time. It is trully amazing... keep practicing your skills and the results are out of this world. Ohh yeah, and quitting smoking have helped me a lot on dream recall too... (have I found my anti-drug??? whoot). Let me know how your first experience goes....

ps. sorry about long post... just being half tequila-drunk. <- *ignore what he just said*
