      Drinking and Dreaming?

Ok, so lately I've been having dreams where I'm completely wasted. This has never happened before, and has occured about 3 times in the past week. I haven't actually been drunk in about a month (excluding New Year's) and I've never been a huge drinker, so I don't know where this is coming from.

You know when you try to run in a dream but you can't because your feet feel like they weigh about 500 lbs each? It kinda feels like that, except over my entire body and no matter how hard I try, I can't stand or walk straight.

So yeah, just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar? Later.

Bingo! I have. On numerous occasions. I've noticed that when this happens it greatly increases the chance that I'll have an LD also. My most recent LD was because of this. I was completely incoherent in hte dream, about to pass out/shutdown and was trying to regain consciousness by focusing on a holly branch of sorts. Realized I was dreaming. Very cool, but I don't know what the wasted feeling is caused by, although I've had it when using large amounts of kavakava before sleep. This last time involved no kava. When you experience this type of state-of-self in dreams, were you excessively tired before going to sleep? -Torch

Torcher has a good point. That would make one powerful dreamsign!

Nope, I don't think I was excessively tired...everytime it happened was on a day when I had the chance to sleep in., maybe that has something to do with it?

The dream-sign thing is a good idea, I'll remember that. Actually one of the time that it happened I realized that I was dreaming...but I wasn't completely aware of what was going on. It was like I knew I was dreaming but I went along with it anyways.

I haven't had a decent lucid dream in a long time.
