So last night I had my first "real" LD. I mean I had one on the first night I ever read this site (that seems to be a recurring theme, having an LD on your first go), but this time I actually did stuff instead of getting overexcited and waking up immediately.

So, I was at a party with a few friends. We had just arrived, and there were some kids throwing some basketballs around on the lawn (?). One of my pals was hit in the back with a ball and there was some commotion and stare-downs happening. Then my friend was punched in the face. After it was broken up, I approached the guy who punched my friend and started to tell him how "it's not cool to do that" etc.. Then, out of nowhere, BAM! I'm hit in the face by some other dude!
So there I am, mad as hell, with a bloody nose, so what do I do next? Go inside and call my girlfriend to see how she is, of course (again: ?). There's no answer, so I leave a message.
I see on the clock on the microwave and it reads 8:20 (you guessed it, here comes the realization that I'm dreaming). So I tell her it's 8:20, but when I look back, it's 10:47!
I hang up the phone and proceed to do an RC. I check three times, and the times are 10:47, 8:13, and then just the number 3. So I clue in: I'm in a dream!! Being sure not to become too excited, I proceed to my first item on the LD agenda: kick that guy's ass who suckered me!
After beating him down for a while (a good 30 seconds ), I realize, "Hey! Now's a good time to try to FLY!" So I bust out of the backdoor and leap into the air. It was such a good feeling, so good in fact that it only lasted a second because, as I expected, I become WAY too excited and wake up.

So there it is, my first "official" LD, where I actually had some control. Now, if only I could control MYSELF and not get those tingly excited feelings and increased heart rate!

PS: Sorry for drawing out that story! Again, I blame my excitement factor
