first lucid really short

i was chaseing this girl through my school and i got into a fight with a random blonde boy the princable broke up the fight and i saw is tie and though " IM FUCKING DREAMING THIS ROCKS " and i woke up that part sucked . but i had a lucid on my first night of trying. is that common. ive only been here for a week or so but i never posted this because i didnt think i was lucid but i found out i was when i looked at some of the other topic's. do ppl often get luicd soon after trying . g2g grey

That's what happened to me. Very first night after discovering this forum, I had an LD. Only had one more since. I think it's common though. It's (likely) a fairly new concept to your brain and you've obviously taken an interest in it, so it was probably on your mind when you went to bed. Congrats! Keep 'em coming!

Well, congratulations on getting that Lucid Dream, Grey. As for getting one on the fist night, I think it happens to a few people. I've mainly heard that people get them without trying on the first night, maybe another on the second, then it gets a bit harder. If you do reality checks and keep a journal and everything, it'll be a push towards making it easier for you, because you've had one and you know what you are trying to achieve.
