Thread: Was this a lucid dream?

Ok I don't know about this but maybe someone could help. I had a weird dream experience this morning. I was at my old school my Junior year of High School. The school I was at didn't get along with me too well. I thought I was awake. I could feel the ground. I could touch stuff. I don't know if this was a Lucid Experience. But it looked real. I was walking down the hall behind this girl I really can't stand which I had a crush on awhile back. I saw her walking to my study hall classroom. I then saw other kids walking in there. I saw other kids in the hall. I swear I thought I was awake. I could see the detail. I saw the classroom like how it was in real life.

The class room was filled with light. I saw the desks, my teachers desk, etc. I saw students sitting down talking. I don't know if this dream could of been Lucid memory type or what but I really don't know. When I was there. I forced my dream body to step back for a minute. I told my self. I'm not going in there, There's no way I'm going there. I'm not going back. Because the school tried to commit me for suicide awhile back for my depression I had. I knew I was dreaming because I knew I was living somewhere else. I closed my eyes really tight. Thought of another place. And I teleported and ended up at some place I never seen before. I don't know if it was lucid but I felt my eye lids closed when I shut them in the dream. Was this a Lucid Dream? I knew I was awake and I felt my whole body moving at the time. I thought I was at the school. It seemed real.

Yeah dude. It was lucid. A setting change, in which you controlled. Definatley. You cannot teleport if you are not lucid.

7.Flew a spaceship.
8.Was a Mandalorian (Star Wars).
9.Flew.
10.Was lucid for a whole dream (20 min. dream time, six hours real time!).

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I remember the whole detail of the dream. I made my self back off for a minute and I noticed I was dreaming at the time. I found a way to get my self out of there. I never want to go back there again.

Uhh, hold your horses. I've teleported several times while not being lucid. And control doesn't = lucidity. I've changed things without being aware of the fact that I'm dreaming.

This still sounds like a lucid experience to me. As long as you know you are aware of the face that you are dreaming (regardless of how much control you have) it is considered to be a lucid dream.
