      My first Lucid...wait...

Ok, I began reading this site about a month to two months ago. Well after three days of trying, it actually happened! I had my first lucid dream. Heres what happened...

Lets see, i was riding on a horse, charging into battle, i was wearing silver plated armor and such, and i was holding a jolst. Well while i was riding it occured to me that i didn't want to go to battle, and that i could stop at any time if i wanted to. Which made me realize i was having a lucid dream! I immediately called my horse to a stop hopped off, and was thinking on what to do first. When suddenly i heard this loud booming voice say STOP GET OUT. I of course then reponded, confused of course,
      heck no! I'm having a lucid dream![/b]
The voice then said STOP,WAKE UP, WAKE UP NOW! YOUR...YOUR... NOT REALLY LUCID DREAMING ITS JUST A REGULAR DREAM SO WAKE UP.
This little dispute went on for about two minutes. The voice conned me into falling on my knees, crying caused i was so pissed off, believing i was only regular dreaming then waking up...rather pissed. I haven't tried Lucid dreaming since because i'm afraid that the next time i try its going to take 4ever to accomplish instead of 3 days. I'm not afraid of the voice, personally i wanna go and kick his ass. But If anyone has advice or...whatever, please drop me a line! Thanx [/i][/b]

Hey there, Lightning, welcome! I see that you have the word "Phoenix" in your profile -- is that where you live? If so, me too! (actually, I live there whether you do or not )

Don't be afraid of trying just because it might take a while. After I joined DV, I had several LDs within a week, but then I went for over a month before having another one. But I didn't give up, and now I'm getting them more regularly, like 2-3 a week. It can take some time and effort, but I think it's worth it.

Feel free to PM or IM me anytime. See ya!

Congrats on your first lucid dream. =D

I think the voice could have been your subconcious, if you had any doubt or anything about really being lucid.

      Hilarious!

Seriously, dude, your story was hilarious. I'm sorry if you don't find it funny, but I totally do. You arguing with some ominous voice who's trying to con you into waking up... I was laughing pretty hard.

ohh... spooky lucid dream! lol....? Whats so funny about argueing with a voice? Well anyways... if it was your FIRST lucid dream the "vocie" might be the only time that happens. I think its very possible to be "haunted" in both lucid and non-lucid dreams alike.
