      Talking THE best night ever!

Hi! I had my best night ever. I had at least 5 lucids. I read about the FILD(finger-induced-lucid-dream) methon yesterday. I woke up this morning, and laid still. I just told myself I would do an RC in 30 seconds. I did one around 20-30 seconds later, and was dreaming! I had had 18 lucid before this, so I didn't wake up from excitement. I got out of bed slowly, because I read thath if you just jump up, you might wake up. I couldn't believe I just fell asleep and remembered to do an RC. It seemed like RL; my room was arranged the exact same. I flew around the house with no effort, and didn't
make an effort. Of course I forgot about the task of the month...
I just stayed in my house, and didn't look outside. No DCs were around. Well, I woke up after a while, probably 5 minutes. I just didn't move again, and did an RC 20-30 seconds later to again comfirm I was dreaming! It was awesome!!!!
That time I just hopped out of bed, but them my vision closed; went black, like an older TV, but closed in a circle. Then I woke up and didn't move again, and you know the routine by now I am sure.
I did some stuff, woke up, did it again, and again.
Know I know how important it is to have a few goals or ideas to do while lucid. I had fun flying around my house, did a few other basic things, but couldn't really think of anything super exciting to do. I know, really stupid. Right now, I could think of a hundred things to do.
What are these called? They are not WILD/DEILDs, because you don't get to SP before falling asleep..I guess they are kind of DILDs, but not really. What are they called?
Well, it was a really fun night! I have noticed that, when I don't just have one lucid in a night, If I have a lucid, I will have several more. I am able to do this and DEILDs by waking up every night 3-6 times. How? I drink a lot at night on purpose the last week, and have gotten at least 10 lucids... the bad thing is, you may wet your bed.

Wow sounds awsome! FILD sounds like a very effective technique for people. But when you have the false awakening, is everything still dark? Isn't that a problem?

      Congratulations!

and what do you mean by dark, matrix? An FA is when you dream that you woke up, and you usually get up and out of bed.

Like if it was dark when you went to sleep, then it will look the same right? I guess you have to practice dream control to change to daylight and such.

Most of the current LD's i have come from false awakenings. Sometimes i falsely wake up to a world where sun is shining and people are washing their cars, and sometimes its dark, and i have to wish it morning to enjoy the scenery.

      sorry I didn't respond sooner..
I think most of my FAs are bright when I wake up, like I slept until morning. I have only had one LD where it was dark. I was outside. It was really clowdy, cold, and dark. I just said that I wanted a clear, warm day, and I wanted the sun to come out. It did, and it was bright.
I catch pretty much all of my FAs now. Before, I would have them all the time. I 'woke up', had to go to the bathroom, and I did, and woke up for real going to the bathroom
      Thanks!

Enjoy that experience as long as it's new and fresh and write down everything you can recall.

Definetly have to agree with that. I have lost so many lucid experiences from my memory thinking "I'll just go to the toilet then write it down" or "Just another 5 minutes in that dream!" before writing it in my journal. I personally keep a notebook and pen beside my bed for this purpose alone, and little else on the table so regardless of how awake/sleepy I am I can grab the pen and write my experiences down.
