My 1st Lucid dream! An ultra short one :(

      Hello,
I have a dream when I take a nap at noon.
I was dreaming I ride my motorcycle.. suddenly I realize I don't know where I was, where I from, and Where I want to go.. and accidently i said: Oh, I must be dreaming!

Suddenly I became LUCID and I feel my body is heavy (I feel like I have a real body, and my body is responding to earth gravity).
I can feel the road bumps, my motorcycle engine, but I can't recall the environment... I just concentrating the feeling of lucid dream like...

When I become lucid, I try to change the scenery, but I fail! I just lost my balance on motorcycle and almost fell.
So, I just concentrate so this 1st lucid experience is not end so soon. I try to say: increase lucidity!! (but in my mind, not my dream mouth).

I try to spin, but I can't... I was riding a motorcycle!!!! suddenly everything is faded to black and I said: oh, it must be the ending of my 1st lucid dream.

Not long after that I wake up... Controlling lucid dream is HARDER than I tought.. any tips for me?
I'm proud of myself because I can have lucid dream last night...

      Thanks all

One helpful technique is when you begin to notice yourself loosing your lucidity, stare at somthing stable like the ground. Or I stare at my hands.
Or you can verbally say somthing to the effect high level lucidity or remain lucid.

      Awesome feeling, isn't it? Congratulations.

It will probably take a few lucid dreams before they will last very long. My first two were under 10 seconds. Don't get discouraged, because the reward is well worth the effort.

A few tips: If you aren't calm when you realize that you're dreaming, take a few moments to collect yourself. Focus your attention on something stable, like your hands or an object. Also, use verbal commands. Don't just think what you want to happen, say it out loud in your dream. You'd be surprised how effective that can be.
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.

Definitely keep working on dream recall, its the most important part of dreaming. I know I had a lucid dream, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. No details at all.

There are a few other things, too. Focus on dreaming before you go to bed. Repeat your intentions over and over in your head as you fall asleep. Something like "I will remember all my dreams, and they will be lucid." Try to make a habit of doing reality checks while you're awake, it should carry over into your dreams if you do it enough. Keep an eye out for anything that doesn't add up - unusuall behavior, inconsistent information, stuff like that. Whenever anything makes you think about dreaming, or wonder if theres any possibility, do a reality check or two, because its easy to make up bad excuses while dreaming.

The hardest part, though, is being conscious enough in your dreams to do all that. It will come with practice and time, though.
