      umm...is this normal?

i had my second ld last night, but it wasn't wild-induced as i'd expected. both times i've tried to wild but then given up and gone to sleep normally and become lucid later on in the night, is this as weird as it seems to me?

Yeah, this is normal. It's just that you really wanted to have a lucid dream, so when you went to sleep you still had that thought with you. That, and are you a beginner to lucid dreams? Beginners seem to have much more enthusiasm, so they can have them easier...

thanks for that, its been weirding me out a bit. yes i am a begginer, is it also normal to feel guilty even after waking up if you've accidentally hurt someone/thing (in this case a cow)

I'm guessing you mean in a dream...

Anyways, it really comes down to your morals. That, or did you feel bad for a long period after, or way after? Becuase it may've just that your emotions carried on from your dream.

You are so lucky...I mean, because the only way I can fall asleep at night is for my body to fall asleep 1st, & then my mind can drift off ! Also, you have to suffer static through your legs, strange sounds, & not being able to move ! I wish I could use your method! Lucky kid!

Also, sometimes I do feel guilty doing something, even though I know it is just a dream (all the time!), but I just learn to grasp control of the dream, & then you can make it like it never happened !

well it wasn't intentional, but basically i thought the cow was going through the wrong tunnel and it would die and i thought it would be best to pull it back out by the rope i had tied to its neck, but someone told me not to do it but i did it anyway and then it tumbled out of the tunnel and landed on its back and it was really hurt. i know my dreams aren't real but the last few days i've been wishing that i'd been lucid because i could've produced a doctor to help the cow get better at least its another excuse to work on my wilding though lol

Like I said, you are so lucky that you don't have to go to sleep every nite using that technique. Also, if you know for a fact that it is a dream, then just time-travel in the dream, & act like it never happened.
