      Straight into a false awakening?

I did a WBTB and MILD and I believe I entered a false awakening without any dream in between. I did an RC as soon as the dream began, but was already sort of lucid. I started out siting on my bed in my normal looking room. I walked over to my mirror to check out my reflection and got scared when I saw it and woke up. Is it possible to go straight into a FA, or did I just forget the first part of the dream?

A false awakening IS a lucid dream infact. So going into an FA can be perfectly normal. BUT it wouldbn't be considered an FA If you weren't already dreaming/lucid I don't think. I am interested in MILD and would like to talk to you more about it maybe

So it was just a lucid dream that happened to take place in my bedroom? Interesting. What would you want to discuss about MILD?

No, a false awakening is not a lucid dream by default. The same condition for lucidity needs to be met during an FA for it to count as a LD.

FAs can occur at almost any time during dreams, but they can hardly be considered normal, even for those of us that have them frequently. Also, it is very possible that dream periods can begin with a FA. For reference, I'm pretty sure Walms has those nearly every night, and I've had a couple myself.

Oh OK. I thought maybe I forgot the dream that came before the FA, but I guess not. I actually think FAs are really cool, since I enjoyed walking around my house in my dream.
