      MY first LUCID!

Finally! I am so happy! I must have been waiting forever! Here let me tell you what happened.

I was in my house after a non-lucid about my lizard, Irwin. I had pop-corned into my old house (I recently moved) with my mom and my dog. I was telling my mom about my previous dream as if I was awake and she was freaking out. Then my dog was on the counter in obvious distress. My chihuahua gave birth to a human child on my counter. Mom shrugged it off. But I looked at the human kid that was about as big as my dog and said. "That is not possible... This must be a dream!"

People allways say that when they become lucid a dream fades. Mine slipped and blurred. I remembered that spinning helped keep you in a dream, so I spun. I got the dream back, but my vision was real fuzzy. I yelled "Clarity" A few times but it did not work. Mom mom hda saw me spinning before and she started to spin me around, which did not help my vision. I wanted her to stop. "Listen, Mom." I said. "I am in control." She nodded. "Now stop spinning." I told her sternly. She stopped. But I felt dizzy and blacked out to a new non-lucid.

      I am SO happy!

Congrats on the first LD. Now that you know it's really possible, you have removed any doubt you had(everyone had that at the start) and you can move forward to get more LDs

Congrats on the lucid! Can't wait til it's my turn to post about my first one Keep it up!
      Things to do 2012/13:
Write dreams in my journal every day [ ] Practice reality checks as often as possible [ ] Start having lucid dreams again [ ] Try to create a continuous dream world i.e. each lucid picks up from where the last left off - could be fun.. or impossible [ ]

      Good job!

      It feels awesome, doesn't it?

Most of the times I become lucid my heart races and I get very excited. My curiosity grows. This happened to me since I was a kid so know my mind is used to it (I guess) and I do not wake up. When I get more excited is when while Lucid, I perform more reality checks and my whole dreams jumps from blurry to 100% vivid in a split second. Is like a blurry image getting focused with a camera, its amazing.

Now, my advice is. When you get lucid, do not try to make everything clear. Just start to investigate the dreamworld and perform any reality checks you can. Sooner or later the dream with focus and become very vivid. Then, you are very attached to the dream and you can perform harder activities such as flying without taking the risk of waking up. At least it does work for me.

So, become lucid and start to walk slowly, do not do funny stuff... examine everything you can. You will get to the vividness in no time.
Click the door... and welcome to my dream world!

lmao - I am sorry. It is extremely stressful and scary when animals give birth... A good dream sign to remember!

Ya. I will. I just do not wish for it to happen again. My dog means too much to me to see her in pain.
