A dream that got me into LD

I'm actually new to this and had this dream about a year ago, so didn't know anything about lucid dreams then. Everything just happened kinda on it's own. I was having a dream that i don't remember now that ended with me waking up in my dorm room (where i was actually napping at the time). There was a TV in front of my bed (which we didn't have in the room)and that was the first thing that made me suspicious. It was showing a moving Firefox logo Anyway i got up and started cheering on roomie, who was playing some weird computer game. It was a soccer match played between two teams of snails (red and blue ones) with a flaming ball. I had a feeling that i know this game well and it's an awesome one at that. But at that moment i realized that i never actually seen it and the image became a bit hazy which made me realize that i'm in a dream. I tried doing something out of my own free will so i turned the TV off. Got really excited at that point and tried to do something more. I focused on changing the scenery to a post-apocalyptic wasteland (like in Fallout) and found myself still in my room, but there actually was a desert outside the window now. It became really hot and everything was basking in red sunlight. There was no roof and the entire building looked like ruins. I got so excited that it worked that i actually woke up (for real this time) and immediately told the dream to roomie, which is probably why i remember it so well till now.
