In my very first lucid dream (that I can remember), I was sitting with a few DCs around an expired campfire. Somehow I realized that I was dreaming, and I excitedly started telling the DCs. I encouraged one of them to say something, curious about what my subconscious would think up.

His response?

He looked at me vacantly, and said, "Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhh...." For the longest time.

That was it.

And lately, I've been trying to dreamwalk to a few friends. You guys would call it shared dreaming. I know a lot of you think it's not possible, but I'm not here to debate that -- that's just what I've been doing. At first I'd just assume that any person that happened to look like whoever I was looking for, was. But since then I've learned not to assume so quickly. Now I try and study them more carefully.

Sometimes a DC will walk by, and I can't get their attention. I have to literally grab them if they're going to pay any attention to me. Even after that, they barely seem to acknowledge me. They never keep eye contact for more than a few seconds. They go back to staring into nothing. When they speak, it's always a flat, dull tone. It only happens when I'm lucid, though. In non-lucid dreams, everyone seems quite normal.

Has anyone here experienced something similar?
