      Arrow The Dream that Started it Again (Back after ~2 years)

      So I used to come here a couple years back. I had some fun with lucid dreams but I suppose I grew out of it. Real life things made me slowly stop dreaming compounded by the drugs (prescribed and otherwise) I began taking. Fortunately that is now behind me and I am beginning to free myself from those toxic conditions. I am beginning to sleep better and longer.

      This morning I awoke from a lucid dream. I had of course had lucid dreams when I had attempted them a few years ago and had a handful. I had also experienced them numerous times as a child, though these were used to awaken more often then not as I became lucid only in nightmares. I also remember dreams off and on but I had stopped caring about my dreams and so these are soon forgotten to the clarity of the real world.

      My dream started as one of these dreams I might remember but soon forget about it due to it's impotency. Unfortunately I forgot much of the dream due to not keeping a journal (a handy tool that I now have prepped with a pen on-top of my bedside). I had gone to work to change my schedule to a conflict (this part parallels real life). Here I saw one of the new coworkers who had recently joined. He was working alone although he should have been with a trainer. Flag one. I checked the schedule and something was off. Here I forget what was off about the schedule but whatever it was a second flag was set off. I realized was dreaming and realized the counter I was pondering the schedule over was not the yellow top I remembered, but a mechanics workspace.
      I walked away and found myself outside of a local mall. I do not work at this mall in the real world yet the dream claimed I did. This flag, although appearing while I was lucid, helped me to keep my head above the darkness. The darkness that starts to creep in in your peripheral vision and clouds your vision. Darkness, that if it covers your eyesight completely, will claim you to unconsciousness or to awake-fullness. A man was running around the parking spot. I believe he was hurling insults at me, but I do not remember. I tried to chase him but he was too fast. I need to hone my dream tricks. I tried to warp to him and catch him, but alas, my dreaming skills are atrophied and I have none of the focus and mental trickery to accomplish that.
      I found myself within the store again. I do not remember how I got there. I was within a toy store but it had changed. There were toy airplanes flying ahead but sets of stairs. Here, I am reluctant to admit that I gave in to base urges and wasted the dream. I grabbed the closest women and shagged her on the floor. A security guard came up while we were doing the deed, and disgustedly he fined me. I handed him my debit card, claimed that it was legal tender and he must accept it. He swiped it and gave me money, claiming I paid him more than fine was. I got ~$40.

      I remember nothing else. I didn't mention it but within the dream I did utilize thumb twirling and spinning to keep the unconscious darkness away.
      What I am doing now. I have gotten together a journal and a pen and put it aside my bed. If I have a dream I will stay awake long enough to scribble it in the journal, lucid or no. If I have no lucid dream tonight I will have a cold shower in the morning. I may or may not do a few dream checks. I have looked over the list of challenges for the year and for the month. I have in the past controlled fire storms in my dreams so I should find that and walking through a patch of mushrooms little trouble once I awaken in a lucid dream. Yearly challenges will be more difficult though I will attempt them.

      Now I lay me down to sleep,
      I pray the Lord my soul to keep;
      If I die before I wake,
      Than it be my fate.

      Nice, I like the part where you just shagged some chick in the middle of a mall. Was she hot?
