I awoke in my bed and did my habitual reality check, via pinching my nose and breathing through it. I found out that it was a dream and i found myself in an old bedroom i used to sleep in years ago, with a door leading to outside. I did not bother opening it and instead slowly and awkwardly phased through it without a running start this time.
When i went outside, i found that the weather was snowy and i figured that this was a good time to practice my dream magic. I practiced with the ohh so common fire ball. I focused heat in my hands and miraculously the fireball appeared, albeit small. I grew it some with concentration and threw it into the wall, it did no damage....
I threw a few more and even threw one over the fence. Some, hero kids in the near by park confronted me about my reckless magic. I then decided to practice my combat abilities and challenged them. I flew up and tried to land on the top of the fence, only to fall on my face..... I jumped up and shook it off and threw fireballs at one of the kids and it did not even burn through his coat. I then got overpowered and woke up in bed again. I knew i was dreaming and i later came across my dad who claimed we where having a shared dream..... He beat me in dream combat to.
Why oh why cant i be good at combat even in dreams..... I woke up several more times in my dream and even showed a dream character how i could use magic and promptly melted the window which was made of ice... She called it mere trickery and locked me out... Well, this is all the note worthy events.
I was in a giant garage, trapped in a repetitive dream spell where i was tormented by armies of demons. It took place in a giant storage room that was a much much bigger version of my garage. I realized i was dreaming through...some unknown mechanism and i was greatful that this one lasted for a very long time.
I felt powerless for awhile, my punches doing nothing to the demons and their weapons hitting me, but not really hurting me.... In real life i woulda died horribly.... As time went on, i even took the shape of a dragon and tried to burn down their towers and their armies.....sometimes my fire did nothing other times it burned them like over roasted chicken.
I took advantage of my favorite superhuman abilities. I hopped off one foot and went soaring 20 or more feet in the air landed and hit monsters, after some time i got better at hurting them. I didnt do much in the way of flight because i am sick of flying....i now prefer to jump and land fat away like the hulk.
I found places with lotsa weapons and armor and found other warriors to fight. It was an epic adventure. I alternated between light onehanded swords and two handers one could only use effectively in their dreams...lol... I defeated many a duelist and it was a blast, but alas like all things, even the most epic of adventures do come to an end.
It was a surreal sight and experience. I was up high on a building and at the time was not aware it was a dream. I was with other people who I did not know. We slipped and then fell. The fall was so long, i knew that normally a high fall from a building took a few seconds but this was a vast distance and that when i started to ponder the situation.
I was wondering by then if i was dreaming, i was terrified that it would hurt like crazy if i wasn't dreaming, but that i would soon discover if there is an afterlife. After that i saw the ground come rushing towards me, i braced myself for pain and i smashed into the ground like a watermelon. My companions and i made sickening sounds and splattered into pieces.
I realized that i was dreaming after i hit the ground and felt no pain and even saw my body from a 3rd person view on the ground in several pieces. You might expect it to be bloody but no, instead my companions and I looked like minecraft characters neatly broken into pieces. I realized that i was dreaming and found it to be an awesome experience.
This morning i got up and could tell it was a false awakening. I pinched my nose and breathed despite the closed nasal passages to confirm what i knew and afterwards i cant seem to recall much of anything. I likely just fell asleep in the dream because i wasn't all that excited.
I was lazing on the couch yesterday when I felt my awareness slip into the dream state. Often i dont do much but observe my dreaming state of mind and practice my ability to wake up on demand.
I kept going back and forth between waking up, having false awakenings and re-entering the lucid dream until i got bored and decided to loose my awareness and sleep. I even managed to dream that my dad came home early...odd.
