OSLO, Norway (AP) -- Oslo police officials say two people have been confirmed dead and 15 injured in a powerful bomb blast at the prime minister's office.... |

Who the fuck would bomb Norway... |

Someone who hates the norwegian labour party. There was a shooting at a labour party youth convention as well, by a man disguised as a police officer having a "routine-check" because of the Oslo bombing. Norwegian news report at least 4 shot. |

The BBC keeps speculating in a rather sickeningly keen manner that it was probably Libyan retaliation and talking of the 'end of Norwegian innocence', but it seems to me that the shootings clearly point towards a domestic issue? |
|
The shooter appeared to be norwegian/scandinavian, so it points to domestic terrorism, yes. |

So many idiots on the BBC. At the moment some yank interviewee who started saying that it's wide open but is now talking about how this bears all the hallmarks of an Al Qaeda attack and what it means about their mentality. And the BBC reporter backing him up. Why would Islamic terrorists have such patently partisan targets? Why do the reports of the shooter say he looked Norwegian? The BBC's excitement at possible arabic terrorism is making them act like fucking idiots. |

Dude...Norway supplies the world with hot women. Who the fuck would do such a thing? |

It's muslims. No one else bombs northern Europe. |

Can't tell if sarcasm. |
|
I've only seen reports about the perpetrators being islamic? It would fit their modus operandi... |
|
I've seen reports that nobody knows who the fuck did what and we should wait for the smoke to settle and go on facts instead of speculation. |

Lol well the islamist groups just like to fuck with us then... |

Man, if I were Muslim, I'd feel just about ready to blow myself up after the ludicrous stuff I've seen today. I just saw an interview with a Norwegian man on ITV news, who said 'the guy is a Norwegian national of Nordic ethnicity and any links to terrorist groups are not known'. Back to the studio and some shit-faced tosser of a journalist who clearly just had his notes destroyed starts with, 'very interesting... of course, the mistake our correspondent just made was to assume that, because we don't know of any links yet, this isn't related to Al Qaeda'. |

The news today is that a 32 year old Norwegian male has been arrested and charged with both the bombing of Oslo and the shooting at Utøya. So far 7 people have been confirmed killed by the bomb and 84 people have been confirmed killed in the shooting at Utøya. The arrested man appears to be a right-wing extremist. |

Supposedly it's the worst shooting in history, as in, where one person kills a lot of people. |

84 people killed at once, uh ya that sounds pretty high up there. |
|
It seems impossible to me. I kept waiting for a correction saying "85 people were killed in the bombing and 7 from the shooting". |
