Lightbulb There's no place like home...click-click-click

Hello. I'm new and hoping to learn interesting tidbits about dreaming as it has always fascinated me. Since awakening, I've become a Seeker in life. I'm always looking within, observing inner realities, so I haven't felt lost. But I have a recurring dream that I'm trying to 'get home', always overwhelmed with the surroundings, can't find my purse, car or keys, asking others for help. It's exhausting. The settings are always in decay or disarray, which, to me, is a nightmare, as in waking life I like things organized. I'm a bit confused as to why I keep having this dream, always the details change, but the desperation always feels the same, and in the dream, I never find my way back home. Am I lost as well? Any thoughts or interpretations would be helpful. Thanks!

Welcome! Perhaps, the act of being too organized in your waking life is getting in the way of being happy? If your lost dream is about a missing object, I suggest you ask yourself what that object symbolizes?
Dreams about being lost or searching for something that is lost usually denote anxiety. They evoke feelings of confusion and frustration, or even a sense of feeling you don’t fit in. I know I've been there. Usually, the meaning has to do with a current situation in your life where you are anxious that you will not find your way out of. A problem at work, school, personal life can invoke these feelings.
I would try to ask yourself why you are lost.
Remember, the best person that can interpret your dreams is Yourself. You can always start keeping a Dream Journal so, you can see the patterns in your dreams Sometimes answers are right in front of you, you just have to look a little closer.
      Hope that helps?
