Post any reoccurring dreams you have here for the purpose of sharing.
This thread is for people who want to share their reoccurring dreams but don't necessarily want advice or discussion. Of course you can discuss them here, but the point should be mainly to share your own reoccurring dreams and read others' out of interest.
I apologize if this thread has been done recently before. I expected it to exist already but couldn't find it.
Spoiler for mine:
Car driving: For years I've been dreaming an average of about once a week about having to drive a car for one reason or another (irl I don't have a driver's license). Usually it's because the driver had to leave for whatever reason and I have no choice. I'm always scared, worried about crashing and am losing control of the car.
Pregnancy: About once every three weeks, nightmares about being pregnant and/or giving birth.
Ex boyfriend: Dreams that I've come back to my ex boyfriend or he comes to see me, always really awkward and realistic, feelings about it vary between dreams. About 1/3 of nights.
Waiting up late: Recently I've been dreaming about 1/2 of nights that I'm living with my boyfriend and he's at work late at night, and I'm waiting for him to come home but realize he won't be home until much later. This doesn't sound like anything special and it doesn't feel like it is, but for some reason the situation keeps occurring.
Trains: I often have dreams involving trains or buses, like those lightrail trains, except they travel across North America. I always have some map of Canada/US/Mexico in my mind and can see the route it's traveling. I'm always going to meet someone and situations involve making the trains on time, catching the right one, etc.
My Idol: I have a tag for her in my DJ because I know she'll appear frequently, because I want her to.
School: Every time it happens, it's usually bad. It's a recount of the past traumas I had in school.
Family Gathering: I have family gatherings pretty often in real life.
Getting in a Relationship: It became more often frequently, if I'm lucky it's every night with a different girl. Guess I'm starting to get lonely again in real life, never been in a relationship before.
My Old House: Or my old house's environment, my childhood dreams comprises mainly of my old house, I had lots of adventure there in my childhood dreams. I don't dream about it much now.
Toilets: I used to have this, now I no longer have it. Toilet dreams were bad for me so I figured it was something bad and searched up on it, turns out it's something about repressing emotions but that was no longer the case when I opened up to DV.
Most common one for me is train anxiety dreams. Usually involve enormous, monstrous freight trains going ridiculously fast, and me having to avoid them or catch them or get across some tracks. Frequently I get trapped, either inside some sort of machinery on the train or on the tracks.
