I hope it's o.k. to post this here, not in category of lucid dreams...

during the last year and a half, I've had a recurring dream 15 times... it's driving me bats that I can't understand the reason for it. it's not a nightmare, nothing unpleasant or disturbing.

my previous experience with recurrings: never dreams, only one nightmare in the distant past that stopped abruptly when the 'real life' situation it was connected to was resolved.

I've had plenty (far too much) experience with precognitives, but they were all nightmares, and none were recurring.

as for lucid dreams, if it's as it was explained to me, that happens to me only in nightmares, was not anything I learned how to do, but a few years ago it just happened that in the rare instances that I had nightmares I could "wake myself up" from them.

if anyone has any input, I'd really appreciate it!

      thanks!

Hmm I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at. It is good that you are able to wake yourself up from nightmares. Perhaps your reccuring dream that is not unpleaseant can serve as a getway to lucditiy, if that's what you'd like. Learn to recognize the situation you're in, people your with, etc., and maybe you can make the best of it. I also used to have reccuring dreams. Is anything really bothering you at the moment?, is there a theme that comes up in this particular dream? Where does it take place?. I'd need a little more info to help you more

I hope you have some luck with your goals

actually, my goal is to know why this dream keeps on repeating, and what if anything I'm supposed to be learning from it

Well, dreams talk like the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland. They are the wisest things ever, but talk in riddles. So, in a similar way, figgure out what the dreams mean. A cloud always following you could mean that you have been procrastinating.

      Makes sence, right?

As is the motto (kinda) of the dream interpritation board:
The best person to interprit dreams is you.
      My dream stats:

      1 LD a week.
      Currently trying MILD.
      Lucid Training time: 6 months.
      Lucid Age: 2 months.

thanks... I've concluded that I'm not smart enough to figure it out myself, so I'm back here on the forum again

Without telling the dream, no one can help you.
