      Recurring bridge dream..

I have been having this dream since I was a young boy, probably about 10 years old. The dream is not always the same bridge, but it is the same concept. I will dream that I am on a gigantic bridge, and the bridge will usually be extremely skinny, or it will have no railing on the side. Usually about halfway across the bridge, something will go wrong and the vehicle that I am in will go off the bridge. I am never the driver of the car though. Lately when I have this dream, I will jump out of the car as it is going off the bridge and I will fall towards the ground, but I will always wake up in terror, with the feeling that I am freefalling to my death. Does anybody have any input on the reason behind this dream??

Maybe you feel someone else has too much control of your life. ie the driver, and you feel they are taking you in the wrong direction, mabye even toward destruction.
