      My feelings

Lately, when I visit the philosophy forum and look around there are many topics I might have replied to in the past. I used to be pretty active in this part of the forum but lately I have been giving up on this. And not because I am giving up, but because I no longer see the relevance in discussion on certain issues. I have, and always did regard philosophy and debate around it as a hobby. Never was it a virtue. And when a hobby becomes less interesting you move on.

I wanted to, for one last time, for those people who might still remember me here and there, share some of my feelings and beliefs on a higher level. My beliefs have become so simple that every single reply I make will cover the very same thing. I will not be extremely long, I will not be boring, I will not preach too much. Spirituality, and religion should be simple and for all to understand. As we must have an open heart and soul, so must our beliefs.

I no longer hold concrete ideas of how the universe works, what god exactly does and is, how the afterlife looks or how we were created or anythign the like. Instead I believe in surrendering and opening your heart to that universe, no matter how it may work in the end. People in general are too focused on the concept of absolute truth and finding the knowledge that grants them just that. This burdens their soul and their heart, and hurts their head And they're not going to find it because at this level, we are just humans and I do believe that existance stretches out far beyond this. Absolute truth loses its meaning when one is free of this concept. If I accept the fact that I do not know it all, that my believes might be incorrect, one becomes free. One that clings to absolute truth is chained by it, in reality. I could put endless words to this, but even with a little wisdom one should understand. And words suck. *sticks out tongue*

I believe in love, kindness and compassion. I believe in a smile and an open mind and heart for all. Why? Because it works. Not because I have some spiritual higher meaning story behind it, or because god or a book might tell me so. When you look at nature everything has purpose (except for shiny bees *winks at ALS*). Compassion has purpose because it makes us happy, it creates unity and oneness. I believe we make things more complicated than they really are, and we hurt ourselves. In general, I believe thinking too much is stressful and useless. The modern human thinks too much and feels too little.

We must all believe whatever we feel we should. Whatever religion you feel attracted to, do not be afraid to get into it. The idea of being punished for believing something harmless, something that preaches kindness and certain rituals that make one comfortable or positive in another way. Is silly. Whether it is christianity, islam, buddhism, wiccan or some sort of mut new age believe, who cares. Be happy, be comfortable, find peace, love yourself, spread compassion and open yourself to the world. To the 'universe'. Be open to changes, do not be afraid to be wrong. The perfect situation in my idea would be one simple world religion were all believed in the simple ideas of love and compassion. Something that all people, from all cultures and backgrounds understand. And who cares what people hold for secondary beliefs, let them.

I would call all to go out into the world with again that open heart, and an open hand. We are all beautiful, and we can all learn from eachother. Let us, let us learn. And let us shine our beauty. Let us overcome the hatred and anger, let us be positive above all.

There is so much more that I feel. But that is just it. I feel, and that's hard to put in words. It is a great feeling of peace, and love. I wish I could share that with everybody. I wish I could say more, but I grow tired of the discussion of matters that seem to so..simple, straight forward and easy to me. We all seek and hunt endlessly and hurt eachother in the process, start wars, flame topics and discussion. If we would all just think abit more simple

      My philosophy for you all:

Love yourself. Love others. Be open, be kind. Be simple and surrender to the universe, trust. Have (self)compassion. Smile at life. Remember who you are. Be true to yourself and others. Respect and accept. Laugh, play. Open your eyes. Dont rush, have patience. Allow yourself to be beautiful, and others. Hate not even hatred. Be free ^_~

This will be my final post in the philosophy forum for a while. And yes there is plenty of more going on inside my heart, but frankly I dont consider that something I should share. This will be it Maybe I'll make a post sometimes, when I really really feel like I should. But if anybody requires whatever wisdom I have (if I even do, I honestly dont care) feel free to pm me. I'm always happy to help or share feelings ^_^

Thanks for that Lucius. It seems that you've found a lot of peace in yourself, which many would envy.
And your message is definitely worth thinking about.
