Do you believe in Life after Death?

I was wondering how many of you believe in life after death, what it consists of and what proof if any you can give me. I Would like to be convinced 100% certain but I am one of those people who can never believe in somthing totally

k, the inevitable reasoning/evidence is in the bible or koran or whatever you choose to believe in... making this discussion, 99.9% of the time, a religious one. anymore discussion on it needs to be done in philosophy and needs to be carried out in a civil manner... savvy?

I say yes, too. I don't think there's anything anyone can say to someone else that will absolutely prove 100% that there is life after death. It's an individual discovery, based on faith and not fact. Even if Jesus Christ popped in front of everyone right now and said "There's life after death", there will still only be few who believe it.

I also believe there is life after death. My belief is based entirely on the fact that it's been proven in the bible. Jesus Christ Resurrected Lazareth. Also the Book of Revelations speaks of Resurrections in a New Kingdom to come in the future. I cannot prove it, I just have that faith that it's true since it is written.

Yup, I do. I believe in reincarnation aswell though =) Im not explaining to much of it, but basicly I believe that when we die our souls first rest in another plane(either lower, middle, higher depending what you deserve), after that we either achieved semi enlightment and pass on to the next plane(which would be the astral I think) or reincarnate again

I'm a believer! Otherwise, what would be the point of life? And don't tell me it happened by chance! Bull!

I believe in reincarnation myself. I have my reason that support this belief of mine.

Though, I did once believe that there was nothing after death once. That we cease to exist. Believe me, it makes watching someone your close to die so much harder. To feel that they are gone, totally.

I am glad that I believe that it is not so now.

      That's my two cents.

Develop your lucid dreaming skills and have an OOBE. Although I have never had one, i'm sure that once you experience the pure and utter bliss of such a state you will simply know that there is a god.

All I know is that I cannot concieve the fact of not existing after I die. I mean, what would I feel? Nothing? What would I see? Nothing, but nothing is darkness and is something itself. What would I think? Nothing, If I don't "am" I don't think. But I cannot concieve the fact that something that is can just seize to be, just like that.

Problem is everything we are is what is stored in our brains, it is composed by our neurons. But when these expire then it is all gone...

I am just ranting on here, its hard to explain...my point is if we are what is in our brains and this organ dies, then all of this is lost. How can we then be(as in an afterlife) without this???

It is a question of faith, something impossible to determine and all we can do is face the day telling ourselves that death is not the end, but merely a transicion.

The question then would be could this faith be blind faith? Do we tello ourselves this because the other choice is just too painfull? Quite the dilemma we face....
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

That is for your physical body. As far as your soul, I don't feel energy can be completlty destroyed. But I wish I new were it went.

      Dad resurrected 3 times

My dad was resurrected 3 times. He say's there is a life and no real death. After his experiance a long series of events to long to explain, he was blind for 4 days, and he saw only one person through his blindness she was surrounded by an aura. After his sight came back he had a meeting with a Sacred Heart Nun Angel in the Hospital, her voice sounded like harmonous waters, she spoke telepathically. My dad has always had visions throughout his life. First one about a guy speaking on the Mt. of Olives in a different language, then the man in a red cloak turn around pointed to the sky and said ths is the end of time, we are made. In the sky were planets alighned. Another vision was of a plane crashing into airport control towers and buildings 3 days 2 days before.
Media is a system of control,
Find the truth for were on our own,
Truthfully we are one, hand in hand legit,
When the doors of perception are cleared
everything will appear to man as it is ," infinite"
