      The Stars...

The stars... all of us look up apon them from this ball of rock we call earth...

ALL of us feel a wonder and respect for them...and somethign we cant quite explain.

      It calls us.

      You feel it...

suppresed as it may be by the unnatural teachings of society.

What is it... Do not deny it any longer... you are part of something huge.

      You yearn to fly

There is so much out there, why have we stopped... why is there not a base of operations on the moon? We have the technology... gods most of you dont have any idea of what we have... The moon is a frikin walk in the park... To put humans on the moon in a permanent base would be a simple feat of what we have acheived...

      But why hasent it happened?

Because the thing that we thought would make our live easier has bitten deep into our nature...

It will cost alot of money to aquire the resources needed to enact that dream...

      Money?

This is putting humans on the moon, staying there... showing the ones that dont see that what we are capable of...
      WE HAVE LEFT THIS PLANET
are you insane?? dont you see this?

we are not bound to this place...

WE can see the cosmos... as a people... stop thinking in terms of yoruself..
      We are all one being.

You are all the closest thing I have compared to the rest of the universe...
You heard me.... We are one... what is wrong with you? Can you not feel it?

Life is strong, hearty, and part of a pattern...

Boil water in a sauce pan..., as the water begins to reach boiling point... watch it... the molecules align themselves into hexagonal patterns just before they break apart into chaos... its a fine line... but its there... complexity evolves from simplicity, if you can look upon the stars and tell me that this is a simple thing... then I think it is time for you to wake up...

      Life is the next step.

WE ARE A PART OF IT!

Innovate... Take hold... LEARN!! get off your ass think about it, I know each and every one of you that read this are beyond the average intelligence of humanity... why else would you be looking into lucidity...

      You are searching for answers...

You see them... the ones that are complacent.. that accept... They no longer question, all they do is try to obtain that evanecsent thing called money...Its killing us...

Please... I beg you, keep the search alive, keep questioning, DO what it is that you feel yearning in your heart, stop thinking it and DO it...

We could already have people on the moon in a permanent habitat... think of that for a moment and what you think it would require... its not that hard is it...

      But worry comes to mind...

What about those that are lost to this cause?

      Lost?

Are you nuts?! lol they are about as far from lost as you can get! we shall all remember them and from the words of an astrounaut...

"We understand the risks...but we are willing to take these risks to further science"

They understand.... do not be sad...rejoyce!! sure we learn from normal missions, but we leanr much more from the failures... it sucks yes... but...

The intersteing thing about Humans is that

We learn FAR much more from the mistakes we make...
Its time we grew up...into the solar system... into the small arm of the milky way that we inhabit...

We need to remember... and we need to end this desire for money.

      /Rant off/

OOOK have no idea.. I just typed... heheh sorry if you made it this far I applaud you =) heeh/

Well, its true none the less...

What you say there is quite true indeed, we are one, we are part of the everything, we are everything, we are god, god is us, god is everything, everything is one..

Exept for one thing, I don't think we should go and explore and inhabit space..I see space as one of the last pieces of real nature..untouched by us humans..

Space too is part of this plane(well the part we can reach), and it too is a form of nature, but still untouched by humans..if we humans go out there, we would ruin that..just like we ruined a big part of this planet ..I would not like to see that happen..

The stars are beautiful..mysterious.., some parts of the cosmos are not meant to be explored, inhabited, researched by us humans..leave it be

But worry not, human is not all we are forever (but you know that)

Nicely spoken though..might not apeal to everybody..it does to me though

      Oh and,

I was thinking about what you said earlier today..

When I said that science was not meant to grow to a certain level, I said that we humans could not handle that, that it would negatively effect the cosmos, because alot abuse science

You then said, "We are young, VERY young" true, we are all young souls, so we have to evolve and grow older and gain knowledge of life..of everything until we can handle science on such a level without anybody abusing it.

But then I figured..new energy is constantly streaming from the core of the cosmos, also the proces of the evolving of this energy is never ending aswell..always energy evolves from universal material to plant, from plant to animal..from animal to human.., thus there will always be an everlasting *production*(lack of terms) of new young souls, that still cant handle this science.

So there will be no point were we can handle such science, old souls with achieve semi enlightment and pass on to the next plane, young souls continue to be born into existance by the laws of the cosmos.

Meaning, the human race can never handle such highly advanced science, it will be abused and space will be ruined like I feared.

By the time we achieve it all souls like you and me will have long escaped samsara, being in the next plane of existance, there will be more young souls just as there are now, and the young souls of now, that will be older by then will be asking the same question as we did(well the situation will be diffirent but you know what I mean)

Life is an eternal circle, the human race is simply not "talented" enough to do such things I think..do I make sense?

(and I know you might still disagree with me, but thats ok, everybody thinks diffirently, whatever happens, we probally wont be a part of that anymore )

as long as you still feel the stars as something "above you," you have not yet aquired the gaze of a man of deep understanding.

An interesting read Serinanth, one i truly enjoyed reading, you say that money is the reason we have stopped growing, so to speak, why we are not living on the moon, I think the reason is somewhat more primative, competition. Would we have placed a man on the moon if it wasnt for the competition between the USA and the USSR? And what was placed on the moon to show man had been there? was it some icon of humanity to show the cosmos we were evolved enough to travel amoung the stars? No it was an American flag, proving that one group of primates bested another group of primates, just a high tech version of apes beating their chests.
However someday our survival will depend on us migrating to other worlds, we are a destructive force on our planet, and someday it will no longer be able to sustain us. which poses an interesting question. Does a parasite deserve a new host when it has killed its previous one?
Its my greatest hope that someday we will evolve beyond our parasitic nature, and be able to coexsist with an enviroment without having to bend it to our will, perhaps then we will be ready to venture out into space and call other planets "home".

That truly amazes me and makes alot of sense. You have pointed out competiton as being the fallback of humanity, and I agree completely. But competiton is human nature, therefore it is hard to avoid this.
      You guys suck.

Many of the ancient cultures of our kind are about as far from paracitic as can be... and this gives me hope... the society we created has driven us far from the balance those cultures had acheived...

You are right though its arms races... but it will only get us so far...

We look up at the stars yes... but they are not above us... they surround us... we are a part of this galaxy... we have the curiousity, but only some of us have the drive to actually go see for ourselves..Sending robots will only get us so far.. we need to take that next step after the robots, I hope I will see the day we set foot on mars... hell... I would go... even if it was a one way trip, I would photograph all that I saw, so people would see how I saw, a real human being, not a robot.

I duno... its just important to me...

I have great hope for our race... we are capable of so much, we are however capable of many disgusting acts... but I think we are starting to finaly grow out of it... we simply didnt know we were destroying the planet... when the old fogeys of the current world order are long buried I pray that more sensible people will be in controll...

      lots of hopes...

But still there is something... I cant explain... I feel we are going to make it... that we will not destroy ourselves, that we will finaaly learn to be at peace... I guess I am just a hopless romantic.. but I know I am not alone =)

      I am a hopeless romantic too ^_^

But for some reason I dont have that great faith in humanity like you do, I too wish that one day all humans will be wise enough to not ruin it all..but there will always be too much humans that are not that way..that ruin it for the rest of us.

Though, I respect your dreams, your passion, one day you will have this chance..even if it is beyond your human existance.

earth will not withstand the kind of consumerism that is required to pay for all of this...then again 8% of the US military budget would feed us all for a year. allocation of resources is one major barriar. we need peace if we want to make it to the stars beyond stars...

we will not make it on this kind of tech
it will have to be nature integrated tech, right now our best spaceship
is the one we're all on now
once we can balence our ecosystem with technology
we will be able to efficiently navigate space
in ways that modern science never thought possible
because they were so lost on PHYSICAL transport

omg will we be able to handle the new drugs?
omg, nanobots shaped like atoms, shaped like chemical cycles through
the newly developing parts of the evolving human brain and consciousness

hehehe and it will be the same technology all those old prophets talked about, if we are not to destroy ourselves in the race
      it will be quite simple

      love

      love natural tech
love human friendly transcendence these big machines and oil r not capable of mind thought planet consciousness
      love

....that'll get us to the stars

not alone, indeed. at the very least, you've got me for companyl.
i'm just as enthusiastic as you, seri, because i want to live to see the day that we can make our universe proud. "live" is a pretty moronic term considering the overwhelming unknowns of life...perhaps "witness" is better. i want to witness the greatest possible levels of our infinite potential. i want the lines of my life to cross with others' from distant reaches...i want to learn so much, see everything, hear stories, gain abilities, defy what we call "impossibility", and i want none of this to ever come to an end because i want to be able to experience all of this without feeling sad when there's only memories of familiarity...there's sooo much that "people" don't see, i often don't consider myself a person... at least in the most basic element of what that means. we all see beyond presentation and know what the sum of the parts contrive...
maybe i ignore material limitations too much, but i guess it's because that doesn't interest me. i'm fascinated by thinking of potentiality in ourselves as beings...that's what we have to concern ourselves with.

as i said in my farewell post to paperdoll:
i truly do believe that we're all plugged into the same energy. i can't name it, but often, others of like mind will present me something that i should've already known i agree with - find words that i'm looking for, create art that's been lost somewhere in my imagination, etc. i'd swear sometimes that i've found my same-sex soul mate...so anyway...even if we are only a spittle of cosmic soup on the rein of a bee searching for its all-but-forgotten bird...don't let that devalue love. no matter how fickle, in this life of spontaneity, i feel grateful to have been given this time.
love is life, life is love - it's so wonderful! we have to embrace the unlikely circumstances of chance that love thrives on...we have to stop struggling and open our eyes and minds to everything.

wow, i don't even know what to say, this is all so much bigger than you or me...words can sometimes feel inadequate when i get into passionate topics...i wish i had more time right now. i could pour out my mind forever and never be finished as long as there's paper and a pen. but i'll try and come back soon to discuss this more. now this is what i like to see from ya, seri!

      love is life

the connection is so simple, it seems silly to most
but that is why it is good enough to be the way

      love
the love of the universe if we love it the same way as it does us

You read the Foundation books from Asimov?

Thats how its gonna be man, its so cool.
      I'm positive.

All the world needs right now is some big war or plage so like 90% of everyone dies, and the ones surviving will make the world a better place with better rules and more sharing etc to prevent such a thing again and it will be basicly almost like starting over again with humanity only that we've got all this technology and stuff and then we'll conquer the cosmos!

If 90% of everyone died, I doubt it would make people want to share. Infact I think they would start trying to split up whats left over.

hehe, it will lead to the rise of small gangs and "lords", and it will last for a very long time. Long enough to lose most of technology...

I guess if all countries would unite and form one global country, it will allow us to colonize space... *oh, dreams, dreams... *
