I was sitting in bed one night and I had an idea for a movie, to be shot completely backwards, showing the life of a man from death to birth. Just thinking of details I had the idea that life was just as coherent backwards as it is forwards. When you think of life backwards it gives you an interesting perspective. For example, a person is formed in the ground and then dug up in a casket, he comes to life as a weak frail person and slowly gains more strength and youth. Eventually he begins to shrink and become less intelligent. He forgets everything that he was born knowing. He looses more control and eventually is connected to an umbilical chord and sucked up into his mother where he shrivels down into a single cell. I just think it's an interesting and fun way to think about life and I wanted to share it with you. |

It apparantly got some flack from right wing conservatives for showing the naked baby genitals at the beginning. |
