your normal, it happens to me too, emotions, thoughts...it'll over power you and make you feel bad i think...i dunno |

I am a happy person usually, but sometimes, I just feel the need to cry for no apparent reason at all. I get really sad for a day or so, and then I wake up the next morning refreshed. Is there something wrong with me? This started happening about two months ago and this has been happening to me about once a week. Is this a bit excessive, or am I just balancing my emotions out? |

I mostly put on this mask that I'm emotionless and serious all the time, but I get really depressed during school. Got some anxiety disorders or summat. |

well you are (appearently) female. women get moody. especially teens. I wouldn't worry to much about it. I'd try watching a movie or some tv,usually helps me. |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
*raises hand* i resent that......i wasn't really that moody until they finally figured out i got bi polar disorder |

I think you are more fortunate than me when you say you feel a need to cry. I myself have a lot of depression, but the kind that makes me feel empty and dead, I'd much rather having an emotionally sad experience, rather than feel emotionally (or spiritually) deadened. |

Depression and mood swings amongst youth is normal, and throughout older years too. |

Thank you guys. It started this summer in a program called upward bound. I love the program, and we were away from home for six weeks. I found out that I liked being by myself. Maybe because of this lack of constant socialization which I had broken away from was too overwhelming a change. Each period of depression was fleeting, though. One thing that often disturbed me, which I do not think was part of the problem, was feeling emotionally, socially and mentally with the people I was around. Maybe I just have too much time on my hands to think. Oddly enough though, seeing the world from both a euphoric and sad standpoint has helped me in my writing. I can also say it gives my life diversity......Lol. |

Life is so beautiful and we're all gonna miss it one day. If I ever wanna cry, it's b/c of being overjoyed. |

i sometimes get 'wrapped up' into my life and the things going on. i see everything as more important than it is. I focus only on the things going on that really affect how i feel. It really puts things back into perspective if i just go out to a big place like the centre of london by myself and go shopping and sit by the river and play guitar. I see people that i dont know and i see new things. It makes me appreciate different things and see how much i can really actually feel happy for no real reason, and it feels really nice to just be happy and see things from a different angle. |
