He was smart and clever and charming. That's why almost everyone followed him. But he was evil. Sorry if I put this in philosophy, I found it on a philosophy website... lol!

Well depends how you look a things. I'd be scared to see what started happening in Germany at that time. But that's me, the fact is that the general population still lets this things happen. It's scary how much people are robots when you look at it this way.

I'd prefer killing myself than kill anyone else for no reasons other than their race, religious belief and physical traits. Hitler was a very sick person. Maybe just trying out the power of his charm (in a really desgusting manner, that is). I'm sure he could of used his talents in a better way... That was such a big desgusting loss.... Damn, I chose Candidate C. But at least I didn't kill Beethoven. I'm sure everyone would chose Candidate C except for a alcoholic or some drugie according to the information we're given. It just comes to say that you can't judge everyone, even if you know more than their appearences... Good job for saving Beethoven... I killed him, sadly.

Based on that I'd choose B. But like Bonsay said it's stupid to vote on someone with so little information. And the first question couldn't be about Beethoven: Of the seven children born to Johann Beethoven, only second-born Ludwig and two younger brothers survived infancy.

like I said, I did. C seemed fishy to me. even with *only* those points of data I wouldn't choose him in real life. I liked that fact that he had smoked opium in college. I consider the use of mind altering substances a qualification. Plus a quart of whisky a day is pretty burly.

I actually picked none of the above. You almost got me with C, but...A vegetarian? Sounds like your just trying to hard, and that isn't a qualification. Plus I am a little wary of politicians who are vegetarians as they might push that agenda. Anyway, people rightly avoided the FDR. The information you gave shows he is a bad choice, and in real life he turned out to be a horrible president.

For the first question, I said let him live. For the second question, I refused to answer, based on the fact that you only outlined their recreational activities and past, without regard to their actual policies and what they stood for, and if they could keep a country under control. By the way, I wouldn't call Hitler crazy. He was actually a relatively good leader, and somewhat of a genius in certain aspects. Militarily, not so much, but politically, he was a mastermind. Personally, I don't believe he had that intense of a hatred of Jews, if you look at what he did, he simply did what every "great" leader has ever done. They unite their people against a common force, and put their people into "under siege mentality", and instill fear into them to control them better. People in Germany were shaken up after the aftermath of WWI, and they got shafted by the Treaty of Versailles. They were rightly pissed off at the world for their mistreatment, and Hitler capitalized on this. The Jews have been hated since long before these times, and have been looked down upon for centuries, so they were an easy target for Hitler to unite his people against. He used his propaganda to turn men into mice, he literally convinced people that the Jews were a type of vermin, not to be associated with actual people. You can't really blame the general public for standing by while these travesties happened, they were either oblivious, convinced that it was okay because these were only vermin, or were living too hard of a life to care at the time, and their belief in Hitler bringing their country out of the shithole state that it was in at the time was greater than their interest in a minority group that had been publicly harassed for centuries anyway. Of course, I'm not defending Hitler's choices. He was an evil man as far as I'm concerned, because I cannot see the way that he did, or the people of his country did at the time. However, hindsight is 20/20. Perhaps we would have all felt quite differently being in a 20th century post WWI Germany. ... Jussayin....
