      Sophie's World

Has anyone here read a book called Sophie's world? If you are interested at all in philosophy I highly recommend reading it, it has lots of philosophical lessons but it is also a story.

I have not heard of the book (or the game), but I know where they got the name "Sophie", philoSOPHY, anyway, I'll look it up.

I'm reading it now! I find it very interesting. I love philosophy and was always interested in it.

It'll take a while for me to finish it. =)

I have read it. It is fairly nice cut to western philosophy in a form of a novel. Good for those who want to get the basics of philosophy in a easily readen form
Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.

I have bought the book, but have been postponing reading it for whatever reasons. I'll post my thoughts once I'm done.

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.
