Hey all, any Taoist lucid dreamers here besides myself? |

Your Dreams are Truly Yours!
I've found Taoism to have good fundamentals, but sometimes bad applications, like any system of belief. I second LucidApple. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
I consider myself to be a buddhist, but I find much wisdom in Taoism aswell. However, even though I tell people Im a buddhist, Im not really a 100% buddhist or anything. Its impossible to follow just one religion or belief for me. I follow my heart, and my heart so happens to agree with buddhism on alot of things |

I think i want to travel to the east and live in a temple for a while. Learn about there way of living, understanding reality, maybe a martial art tempel. As well as it would boost my wisdom i also believe in dedicating onself 100% to relaxed living with meditation everyday would increase LD if not create the strongest fundation for LD ever. Just have to overcome the speach barrier with them in that case. |

I am also not a Taoist, but I am truly very interested with their philosophy and views. I am currently looking to learn more about it, and am considering taking up Tai-chi and Kung Fu, which are of course based on Taoism. I have always wanted to study a martial art, and I would even more so like to study one with those principles. In fact, that is the main appeal... |

If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

Yeah Im attracted to Taoism in a few ways... not enough for me to ever 'become' a Taoist (by the way, Im against people labelling their fellow humans with religions labels). |

I went from Christian to agnostic to Taoist to Taoist/Buddhist/Hindu to basic principles Hindu to full blown many gods Hindu to atheist. Now I am an atheist with some beliefs in Taoism, Hinduism, and Buddhism, and some terrorizing thoughts left over from Christianity. I don't believe that the universe was created by something concious or that existence is a conscious mind, but I do believe that everything is one (the fundamental property of existence) and that that reality might have something to do with the property consciousness in some kind of bizarre way. I side with the Libertarian Party on domestic political issues, and they were founded on the principles of Taoism. I practice transcendental meditation, and I once experienced Nirvana for three hours at the Memphis Zoo. I also believe that the explanation for the existence of existence has something to do with the Taoist principle that being and nonbeing create each other because they are based on each other. I am not sure of the full details of the explanation. I agree with the Zen principle that everything is actually meaningless and that Zen enlightenment is a state of extreme laughter over the meaninglessness and therefore absurdity. I saw that reality on mushrooms one time. |

How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

I'm an atheist, but I do agree with most of buddhism and some janaism.[/i] |

Dream-scape ;D I don't really know much about it, so that's the best I could do. |
