Hey, I just thought of something.

If the atheist view is true, then you will never find out if there is a afterlife or not. Let me explain:

After you die, you no longer exist, therefore all cognitive, neurological functions would henceforth cease. Which would mean you would be unable to appreciate the nothingness which ensues, unable to reason and understand or appreciate anything post death.

So, if God truly isn't real and there is no afterlife then nobody will ever know, in absolute truth, this fact.

I guess this could make all the self-proclaimed atheists into eternal agnostics.
