We don't know that there's no life on Mars.
Truths are material, like vegetables and weeds; as to whether vegetable or weed, the decision lies in me.

no life no mars? Wait... let us get the grammar straight... no life means no mars? Well fuck me sideways and call me Alice, there's life in general in the solar system, mostly concentrated in one place but we speculate it could exist elsewhere... so that means there is life and there is mars, because as we have life, we also have to have mars! Amazing!

Don't expect results overnight... there is buttloads of Data to be sent and analyzed, and even more after that. You shouldn't expect a discovery like that to be so immediate.

However, there are signs of life on Mars if you've been following the missions at all. In fact, had you been you'd of had no need to start this thread.

While any life on Mars may not be intelligent life, we may, and have a good chance of, finding life in the form of microorganisms.

The reason there is no "large" life on Mars is because its, essentially, a barren wasteland. It has no plants, no sustained atmosphere. There is nothing available for life to live, save for water. Albeit minuscule amounts, if any, in terms of liquid water, but frozen water has been observed on the surface of Mars which puts up a good probability of micro-organic life.

If Mars were to have a more vegetative surface, more complex life would have the chance to form.

there's signs for alot of things, doesn't mean it exists.

Wrong. In the start, there was no oxygen, so life lived of sulphur instead. As far as I know, there was plenty moist, water and heat.
