What does brain activity look like during the day?

At night, a brains activity looks like there's probably a couple of sine curves going on. one big 8-12 hour one and one smaller one that repeats every hour ish

so what does the activity look like during the day? mirror opposite, right?

Beta brain waves, measured at 13-40 Hz, are the brain state of our normal waking consciousness. Nearly all forms of action, thinking, and problem solving are done with a beta brain wave. Most people spend most of their waking lives in a beta state.

but wouldn't you think you're probably in an alpha state when you wake up and then approach a quick beta state then go down towards alpha a bit more then an even greater beta spike 2 hours after waking up then stays mostly beta then later in the day starts becoming alpha then beta then even greater alpha then a more alpha like beta than the last beta... until thetadelta is reached again at night...

we're looking here at 2 sine curves. one that resets every 2 hours or so and one that resets for the days. there is probably a larger sine curve even that relates to the year.

i was wondering if these brainwave readings could actually confirm this idea

So is it truth that brain activity during a dreaming is much more higher than in awake state?
