A while ago I started a research project on lucid dreaming, but seeing as I am in a dry spell at the moment I wasn't getting many results, so I decided to bring it to the forums. |

The Golden Rule: He who has the gold makes the rules.
I think it's different for everybody. I don't think there is an optimal time of staying awake, or a single best method etc... |

High Head at Low Noon
I realize that it's different for everybody, but I was thinking that perhaps there would be a preferred amount of waking time before a MILD or WBTB for a majority of the people. This would eliminate some of the guesswork and would make an easy starting point. For example, if we knew the 58% of people had more LDs after 15 minutes of staying awake, then logically you could start trying MILDs that way. Of course this wouldn't be true for the other 42%, but it's better than just starting at random. |
