A new approach to the WILD thing

Most of us are famliar with the (WILD) thechnique.

Since this idea revolves around this approach, here is a follow up for those who are not famliar -
      WILD Technique

I have not had much success in with WILD in the past, this new way I have had some success
Idea. To ingage more of your concious mind during the effort to WILD

Differant from the normal idea of concentrating on your breathing and focusing on the aspect of having a lucid dream, here is where my approach differs. Try to incorporate an idea to concentrate on that uses more of your conciousness. Pick things that are typcially difficult to do while in a lucid dream. Math, text reading, etc.
Important. Still try to keep the lingering thought of becoming lucid in your ahead amidst trying to think of somthing for example what I thought of , chess. Differant openings and the concept itself.

Result I believe this engages your concious mind and keeps it more actice into the progression into the sleep stages. In return your mind is more likley to stay concious rather than fall to sleep, as was my usual outcome.

Give it a try people and let me know if you had any luck

Howetzer, I've been wanting to rewrite or to create a new tutorial on WILD. I've found that the existing one that is posted usually only results in my losing sleep.

Anyone interested in helping me work on a more in depth one that perhaps breaks it out into stages and adds flexibility?

From what I've seen over the last year, EVERYONE achieves WILD in sublty different ways.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Seeker, I would be more than happy to help revise the WILD Tutorial. MY lack of achievement to the Posted appraoch is what led me to try and devise my own way, hence the post above.

Maybe we can get some of the other ideas floating around and put it all together somehow.

For my WILD's for some reason, I listen the the UK Scisor Sisters Album and keep my mind focussed on the lyrics, but relating them back to lucid dreaming, it seems to work for me. Meh, I don't really need to WILD anymore, seeing as I get lucid at some point every night anyway.

      Oh God, I'm rambling now.
