      Visual Math Visualization Tools

"Mathematics is the language of nature", or so says the time bending narrator in "Fibonacchi Sequence", that banging late-90's trance anthem.

My own experiences of lucid and vivid dreaming began very near after the time when, as an adult, I began contemplating geometry. Not crunching theorems. I was just loosely contemplating dimension, rotation, relation, scale, progression, inclusion. I read up on 4D geometry. I tried to draw a 4D pyramid. That did the trick. Onset right after that.

So, from my experience, I suppose that contemplating higher-order geometries may help 'unlock' something in the visual center. These geometries - or, broadly, visualisations - are so intrinsic to the fabric of reality. They correspond to forms in the world, in our minds, and along which our brains themselves are structured (e.g., fractal).

So, after the fact of my own onset of vivid dreaming, I found this site.
Incredibly beautiful. I encourage you to check out the materials at this link.

If that's your style, contemplate and visualize these in your free time, to expand or refine your perceptual capacity. If not, just enjoy ...

      Lemme know what you think.

      Peace,

Finally, a source on fractals, naturally occurring patterns, and dimensions greater than 3D that doesn't try to force twenty page explanations for why on you. This is a great site for anyone interested in this stuff that didn't get a PhD in math.

Seems like a nice collection, although I looked at the one about the Mandelbrot set and it really only looked at superficial things and didn't explain it or even define it, which was a bit dissapointing...

I couldn't find any reference to complex number or iterations, which really aren't hard at all for even the mathematically illiterate to understand.

Seems Like I remember reading a post a long time ago ('08?) from another guy who contemplated 4d cubes and the like and consequently started getting really intense/vivid dreams. That wasn't you was it?
If not I imagine you'd at least find that interesting.

I imagine I'll spend some time on this site as well; looks interesting.

      Maybe.

I tried to explain this on the way in to DV: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...29385#poststop

Apparently, I also provided the link to the math visualizations, at the time.

      Minimal Surfaces...too

      酷! 出KU. Yes. Push it.

Check out the minimal surfaces. Consider. Google the broader contexts. Deep cosmology and the mundane everyday.

Then come back to DV, tell us what you've learned.

      I'm listening.
