This is cool. I wonder how many laser pointers he has overheated radio waves are the same "stuff" as visible light, but our eyes do not see them because radio waves are a lot less energetic. The basic principle behind the actual radio is nevertheless the same as this, but one needs suitable equipment to send and receive those less energetic light waves for radio and that's that.
