The Church has been contradicted by science so many times it's not even funny. Even when science has been close to doing it, for example, my friend told me something about Jesus's tombstone and how it's been scientifically proven that it couldn't have been created through any physical human power. Then I said, "Couldn't they have elephants or oxen or some shit to move it?" No answer. huh.

The universe wasn't created. Something cannot come out of nothing. Something, whether big or small, invisible or in plain sight, physical or pure energy, MUST have already been the universe in the first place, God or otherwise. Or I'm just plain stupid and shit just pops into thin air everyone once in a while and I don't notice it.

The thing is, we don't need a God to cause whatever chemical or metaphysical reaction that created the universe.

And I'm still waiting for MrBlonde to contradict my post:

The whole thread is moot. The OP at best is an argument against Adeism, and not Atheism; but only when "creator" is taken as being synonymous with "god".

According to google Adeism isn't even a word. And according to the link in your post adeism is exactly the same as atheism... Why change a couple letters when the original word is fine as it is?

because the meaning is right there in both words. Atheism means no religion. Someone could believe in god and still be an atheist if they don't believe in any religion. Adeism means no god, which is what the thread was originally about (again, assuming the OP equates creator with god).

Atheism the lack in belief of god or gods. God the creator of all things. Creator one who creates. Creation the work of a creator.

Example:

I don't believe in god.

I don't believe in the creator.

I don't believe I'm created.

I don't exist.

But.....

I do exist.

So what you're saying is that god must be here, because since you just swept atheism off the map, there are now only religions who claim there's a big guy in the sky who got a little bored one day and created a world but was too sadistic to be satisfied watching them love and grow and instead also created hate and bloodshed, and also forgot to clear up a lot of contradictions -which OF COURSE are only misconceptions by the PEOPLE who wrote the bible- in his old age.

I have given this a lot of thought, and I have decided that the universe was created by a giant rainbow snake

and by that, I mean a closed timelike loop.

The arrow of time (entropy) is a part of this universe, and there's no rule that says it has to apply outside it. So effectively if another universe was connected to it the arrow of time in that one could run in a different direction

and you'd have a loop if they connected.

Along the timestream of one universe (UNIVERSE A), somewhere 30 billion years in the future, scientists create another seed universe perhaps, which pops right out of sight when they make it. or it happens due to natural causes. I have read about this, I think it's very unlikely but we've got trillions of years to do it

and then the same thing happens in the other (UNIVERSE B) and each of these connect to the other universe's origin, so you have a creation point for both but no actual starting point

this isn't actually very original but I came up with it myself when I was eight and I remain proud of that,
