It's cool. I was refering to DragonBall Z (yes I'm a dork

). Vegeta is my favorite character... he was always frustrated 'cause who he considered his greatest adversary turned into a Super Saiya-Jin before he did. Goku attained this skill from extreme sadness whe his best friend Krillin died. Vegeta attempted the same thing but no results. Eventually he became utterly frustrated and was filled with rage. It was through this rage that he became a SSJ. Hence his quote... "to each his own..."

I must admit though I had heard it somewhere before, just can't remember...

Oh yeah... it is kind of a coincidence though because Vegeta is named after vegetable. A lot of the characters in DBZ have them. For examle Goku... that's his human name... his Saiya-Jin name is Kakarott (carrot).
