      Cool

The next time your teacher, or just any random dude, asks you what is pi....

      Link

[ Warning - Roughly 2 megabytes in length]

I promise you it wouldnt take more than 1096 years to memorise if you just have some will power to memorise 10 numbers everyday (in sequence of course). Easy huh?

      Let he/she stand in awe.

Why, one of my favourite passtimes!

      One
      A Poem
      A Raven

Midnights so dreary, tired and weary, silently pondering volumes extolling all by now obsolete lore. During my rather long nap, the weirdest tap, an ominous vibrating sound disturbing my chamber's antedoor. "This," I whispered quietly, "I ignore".

Perfectly, the intellect remembers: the ghostly fires, a glittering ember.

From memory (and my God, I hope it's right). The real Cadaeic Cadenza encodes 3000+ digits of pi in an (obviously) three thousand word story. It's the slowest method to remember, but also, I find, the most poetic.

      OR

Sir, I send a rhyme excelling
In sacred truth and rigid spelling
      Numerical sprites eludicate
For me, the lexicon's dull weight

This is one of my favorites. Short, sweet, to the point and just about accurate for all uses.

OR (AND THIS ONE IS PROBABLY WAY OFF SO LOOK IT UP)
How I need a drink (alcoholic in nature, of course) after the heavy lecture on quantum mechanics

Pi to about 51 places or so is enough to find the circumference of a circle as large as the visible universe quite accurately, I believe. By the way, don't you dare take that fact for certain. Last thing I need is for someone to make a rocket that takes that for granted and blows up on my account.

The last digit of pi has not been determined. That link just carried it way out. It is believed to be non-terminating, meaning it goes on forever.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

It's irrational. Meaning it's not believed to be non-terminating, it's known to be.
