Or click on it very rapidly till it goes away... I can't see it doing harm unless your computer is in bad shape to begin with.

The new year starts today. I've already (beginning several months ago) taken steps towards bettering some things I wanted to: lost 23 pounds so far (down from 187 to 162/164). Solved the money concerns, attitude adjustment, etc...

There's only one thing that's bothered me. And that's only resurfaced in the past week. When FD decided to yet again rub my face in the fact the FD got into the position I wanted to be in. It doesn't bother me that I missed the mark: that's life. It only bothers me when it's flauntingly waved in front of me and I'm essentially told "Hey, look at me! I get to do what you thought you would get to do. Aren't you proud of me? In your face, sucka!" Alright, so I realise now that I can't change FD's desire to flaunt FD's success and to make me mad about it.

All I can do is change the way I view FD's chest beating and victory dance. I need only to stop viewing my lack of success as a failure. It's not a failure; It's simply the way things are. I can only hope to be there to quietly laugh to myself when those who promoted FD to their current status realise that FD is really only a drunken coke-head and it all comes crashing down.

When a 3rd party had the metaphorical balls to approach me and call me on my bullsh!t way of handling this and put me in my place I realised how correct they were. I was acting childish and selfish in my handling of the situation. I love it when some one has the guts to stand up to me and point out when I'm out of line. Lord knows I sometimes need it.

My resolution is to shut the f*ck up and let life play itself out. Also to quit being such a sensitive baby, which only encourages FD's attempts to p!ss me off. And to quit being so selfish and trying to deny others what they want just because I didn't get what I wanted. May it never be an issue again.

Maybe while I'm at it, there's a few members at DV that I should be nicer to as well.

the other night i was f'ed up at a party and woke up with 3 hot 15 year old bitches on top of me, naked, asking for sex(literally). I immediatly stopped them cuz im 18 and in enough trouble already, but god damn the temptations... I miss being underage

Dang, $150... I wouldn't even know where to start with that... I'd search and see how much a Canon Powershot is. Not sure how much they go for, but they are pretty good. We have in our photo equipment room.

That's what I have, it's not top of the line, but it has everything I would ever need in a camera (mind you that mine is an older model by now). Never had any problems with it.

I guess I should clarify; it's going to be a gift from my parents, and that's their budget. I realize it's pretty low for a camera, but hey, we're on SSI/Disability...

Anyway, after a good bit of research, I"ve come to the conclusion that I'm probably not going to do any better than the Canon Powershot A560. I can get it for exactly $149.99 at Best Buy, and it's got pretty much everything I need. Thanks for the suggestion, Meggy! And Spart, for the backup.
