your guilty music pleasures

okay, we all like music. its one of the things that built, sustains, and will keep going, culture and society. we all like a certain genre of music. but we also have a liking to a type of music that we would never admit to anyone.
for instance, heavy metal is what i like. but what i wouldnt tell my friends is that i have a liking to the band, the cure. (who would've thought?)
what is your guilty music pleasure?

I'm pretty snooty in some of my musical tastes. Very little of what I like ever comes on the radio, with perhaps the exception of Flaming Lips or Modest Mouse (even then, rarely). I'm also a huge classical music buff, especially of 20th century music. But the one CD I'm sure to hide if one of my other snooty music friends is over?... The Monkees Greatest Hits!

Ok i know this is a total love song and i'm not into love songs, but i like the main theme from Titanic "my heart will go on"...

Just cause i started learning how to play the keyboard and that was one of the easiest songs to play, so i had to listen to it a lot

And i just started to like it...

i just love the bass from fascination street (the cure) and the whole first half of the song is music

and not only that, the thing id never EVER tel;l any of my friends, is that i actually think fall out boy isn't that bad...

Actually, I would never tell my friends I own a My Chemical Romance album. I think it's horrible with the exception of two songs myself, but .. I guess those two songs would be my guilty music pleasure.

I bought it at the time because I read it was great somewhere (grmbl) and never heard their music, then saw an album of theirs for hardly any money.

i absolutely HATE my chemical romance, except for one song. if anyone says a word to a soul about that... well lets say you wont be enjoying those pleasures of yours for a veeery long time.

What song would that be? Better not be Welcome to the Black Parade, that song is so.. freaking.. emo/annoying/<insert more bad stuff>. I think Dead isn't all that bad.

That would be 'Famous Last Words'. What were your two songs TweaK? Dead and...?

I'm slightly embarrased that I like Green Day, but it's not that bad, they're just a little too mainstream.
I'm also slightly ashamed that I like 'Every Time We Touch', as it's has such a corny theme and no guitars, but it's so damn catchy!

Dead and... Damn, I forgot the other song. I haven't listened to them in ages.

Quickly listened to some samples on last.fm. Mama was the other one, I think. Although Cancer isn't too bad either.
