Here the sun has been down about 6 hours, and it's been hot here for about the last 2 weeks and really nice but it started raining earlier.
Damn rain!

Clear and cold for this time of year. Where I woke up this morning, it was 26 degrees with a hard frost. That was very near the 45th parallel.
I'm a couple hundred miles south of there now. No frost expected here.

Around here we've had a very late summer which continued until about 2 days ago. Now suddenly it's normal British autumnal weather - overcast with some sun and occasional rain. I like this weather, especially when all the leaves go red and brown
