PM limit.

What is the standard limit for "regular" users' PM boxes? Mine is 250 (total in/out) but so far I've seen two other regular members indicating that their limit is well over 250. I'm assuming theirs is 350 but don't know for sure. So, why the discrepancy? Or are they telling a tall tale?

I think members have 250 where as the staff have 500. Unless those pesky admins give themselves a higher number

Apparently, some regular members have a limit of 350 (and I think at least one of them is a fairly new member, which really surprised me). I'm not asking for my limit to be increased; I'm only wondering what the difference is between those with 250 and those having 350. But, it's obviously some sort of a secret since no one wants to reveal WHY. Whatever. Keep your precious secret

Registered Users have a 250 storage limit. Then - until further notice - I'll assume that the few members claiming 350 are lying their asses off *cough*Adam and others*cough*. Here's mine... It doesn't show me a percentage full on mine... I keep my Inbox/Sentbox quite cleaned out and tidy. 5000! Man, it's going to take me awhile to fill that baby up. Well, I'd better get busy... it's an tariff option, similar to phone providers you can get 100 extra messages, but your call time is reduced by 30% I can have 350 PM's but each one can only be 10 words long

I saw one new member comment on his PM box and he/she stated "350" in their comment but I assumed it was a typo. Then I saw other members claim a box heft of 350 so I wondered why. No one seems to be supporting the 350 claim in this thread so... I have to assume they are full of it. Either that or I found out something I wasn't supposed to. I don't know how much plainer to make it: Registered Users = 250 There is no "special" group that has any different number than what I listed above. I repeat, THERE IS NO SPECIAL GROUP THAT GETS MORE PM SPACE!! It was probably a miscommunication if you heard something different.

Contrary to apparent popular belief, this isn't a big deal. It's the responses that are making it so. I was only asking a question that seems to have been unanswered at the time.
