Depends on what you class spam as. I think most of senseless banter is now spam. Just look at the post above me.

I report advertising spam. I leave Jdea's posts alone.

I did not mean it as an insult, or spam, but it was just my immediate reaction to this thread thats all. I would not post things like this outside of the senseless banter forum, i'm not like some people on here.

So please don't judge me harshly, i got the impression people are doing so.

Yeah, I kind of agree. Though I do also report spam. And occasionally the absolutely retarded let's-put-it-out-of-its-misery kind of topics.

Sure do... there was this sketchy looking thread in Philosophy this morning (which I usually just lurk at) about Freddie Mercury, and there were like 20 links about random Freddie Mercury stuff, but looking at the actual link names they looked shady as hell, so i reported it.

Spam is an advertisment. Strictly. Unsolicited online advertising to be precise.
Flooding, on the other hand, is unnecessary and meaningless content posted in large amounts. And flaming is harsh and hostile content aimed at specific people, simply put: insults, personal harsh rivalry, etc.

And yes, I report spam.
