I haven't posted on this site for billions of years but I was watching tv today and a stupid question occured to me. This seemed like the best place I could go for an answer. I watched "Office Space" today and it occured to me how much better every aspect of my life would actually be if I could have the whole relaxed state of mind that Peter has after he goes to the hypno-psychiastrist (spelling??). Does anyone know if it's actually possible to be permanently hypnotised into that mind state? I go through my daily life generally not giving a fuck, but I find it difficult to take it to that next step that Peter does. |

Some are born to endless night
I don't think it's a good idea to change your mood permanately. Life is supposed to have good and bad feelings, it's what makes us human. |

I believe it's certainly possible, however, probably not to the degree Peter takes it. Well... actually, why not? I guess that's just my opinion. If you can make a person quack like a duck or cluck like a chicken in front of an audience through hypnosis, then carrying on a particular "attitude" should be cake. |
