The post quoted in the OP actually made me wonder something odd - we know the order in which those lines were written because we write responses underneath the thing we are responding to. This is natural, we do it in our forums as well. Now, I wonder - if you're in China, do you respond to graffiti by writing yours to the left of it? (If it's vertical) I pulled a similar trick to that one (before reading this) in my math class. There's a whiteboard in the back of the room that never gets erased, and some kid wrote "I hate math -James C.". I grabbed a marker and, under it, wrote "I hate James C. - Matt H." I thought I had had an original idea, but I guess it's been done before... in bathrooms, no less!

I've actually seen a full intellectual debate on Gay Marriage in a stall before, with the dumbasses writing "Kill a Fag" or "Fuck" near it. One time, when I read it all (I really had to crap) I actually saw rebuttals and statements and such.
