What blood types are you?
Just for fluff.
O+ A+ B+ AB+ O− A− B− AB−
(Chart taken from non-related site, data may be incorrect, but seems consistant with wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_t...ion_by_country Which is also not a perfect authority =P)
If you are AB- You can only take, 0-, A-, and B-.
If you are B- well, not so lucky. You can only take O- and B-.
If you are A- you are as unlucky as B-, you can only take O- or A-.
If you are O-, haha you get shit stick. You can only take O-. Luckily they have this on supply because it is the blood given to all unknown ER admissions without prior knowledge of blood type (who have no time for people to find out).
If you are AB+, you are one lucky SOB~!!!! You can take ALL BLOOD!
If you are B+, you aren't as unlucky as the negatives, you can take O+-, and B+-.
If you are A+, you can take O+- and A+-.
And if you are O+, you can take O+-.
There is also a blood type called hh, or bombay blood group. This group, when tested for, is shown to be O-, however it is not O- because blood can not be recieved from a O- donor. Read more here if you care. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hh_antigen_system You are probably not hh unless you live in a very isolated area or are the product of inbred kinfolk.
Disclaimer: Though all but one (technically true, since O- can take hh but hh can't take O-) blood type can take blood from at least one other blood type, I feel it important to point out that it is always best to recieve blood of the same type.
