I have noticed a recent fad of people who post in threads just to say that the threads suck. I don't really understand why people do it because if they think it sucks, they should just stop reading it and move on and do their thing while allowing others to do theirs. Why interrupt a conversation you weren't involved in just to say it sucks? Does anybody do that at parties? Do you go up to groups of people and say, "I overheard your conversation, and I would like to join the conversation just to say that your conversation isn't good enough for my standards even though I am now a part of it."? Since people obviously do feel the need to engage in that bizarre behavior, I thought I would provide an opportunity for people to get out that negative energy in a thread where they are actually invited to say that the thread sucks. Feel free to talk all about just how ridiculous of a thread this is and feel no guilt whatsoever. Don't hold back. Let it all out. I'll start. Damn, this thread just sucks. I never really bother to point out that threads suck, since any thread I post in inherently sucks. Sometimes (usually) it descends to suckitude due to my posting in it, and sometimes I post in it due to its descent into suckitude (to further its descent, of course). So instead, I simply added my sentiments to my signature.
