Thread: Anyone Want To Play The Band Game With Me?

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well.

I just thought that maybe some of you would like to play a game that my sister and I used to play together before she moved. I call it the Band Game. Everyone is free to play!

OBJECTIVE: The objective is to create a story using band names. The story needs to make sense, meaning don't just throw something completely random in the mix, keep it flowing.

RULES: Each segment added must have a band name somewhere within it. The band name should be capitalized so it can be identified withing the sentence. You can't just put mindless writing within in the story. Example:

Coheed and Cambria are going to Linkin Park at midnight to see Three Days Grace perform.

This sentence contains three band names: Coheed and Cambria, Linkin Park, and Three Days Grace. You CANNOT just jump in and say something like this:

Coheed and Cambria are going to Linkin Park at midnight to see Three Days Grace perform. The weather man says it will be raining cats and dogs tonight.

That has nothing to do with the story. Unless a band name can be incorporated, don't use it.

NOTE: It's okay if you want to take the story in a different direction, as long as it's logical. Also, groups other than "rock" can be used. I'm using rock bands because that's my musical taste, but "rap" and whatever else can be used, as well as single artists. (side note - when my sister and I played this was a verbal game and required fast thinking, because pausing caused you to lose the game, but because this is written, it's slightly different).
