i just sent my ex girlfriend an email... i'm so goddamn drunk and i feel that i made a mistake. is there a way to take back an email? anyway? shit. shit. shit. well, i'll see her thanksgiving... i'll keep you kiddos updated... i cherish her so and she returns the emotion... but 300 miles is too much to keep up.

hey-o, i wish you could only know how much you've influenced me so far. right now i'm the drunkest a monkey can be without blacking out... so i shall pour my soul out and we can talk about it over ice cream. it shall make for interesting conversation... this might be long.

yeah so there's no doubt that i liked you... a lot. a girl that is seemingly unattainable... i never looked at you in the way i do now... you're attractive and smart and i enjoy all the few minutes we had together. so sad... life is weird. hmm, yes. well life is complicated and it all comes down to the monkey. me, being somewhat involved with existentialism i feel that the choices i make are made with the thought that i shall overcome. survival of the fittest. dog eat dog. you know waht i mean. -- i'm trying to make choices now that will help me later on. i want the best for my precious \"one in a million\" future. wait no. i just realized after reading that, that i don't have a point. haha. isn't that the nature of the monkey? life without a purpose? we try to justify it with family and jobs but we can't. god damn i'm off topic. i'm such a stupid monkey aren't i? yet all the monkeys i look at are worse off. as a whole, we're so self indulged. i shall give you some instances. lisandra... a girl i met up here in f-town. she's a horrible human being... a cute, horrible human being. she's one of these 'tree huggers' she makes such a name for herself without taking the time to better herself. she's all about image... not substance. now onto katy. katy is a girl who deals with her problems through drinking and doesn't want help... like me only with boobs. kinda weird. there's jessi, who is a girl who deals with her problems through sleeping around. there's shawna who is so cold and detached because her father is child abusing coke dealer and her mother... well her mothers last moments were spent looking into her daughters eyes while she pulled the trigger... how can you pull the trigger while looking into your childs eyes? is that fucking possible? no. no. no. i tell myself. this girl shawna... is unbelieveable. she had ovarian cancer in middle school... it was cut out... now she has unfathomable stomach pains... i try so hard to help her but i can't help but feel uneffective in the game of life. am i trying to live through other people too much? what's wrong with me? damnit!

just sitting here listening to led zeppelin and typing out this completely trivial message has acctually made me feel better. thank you erin... thank you for the ear. the cherish you too.

Actually that is not bad....I think it will probably do more good than bad, as far as my logic can predict. Unfortunately, logic isn't something anyone should be using when it comes to women, or basically human relations.

If it helps, your email kind of made me feel a bit better about my shit too...I am kind of stuck in a very similar place now and keep running into dead ends. Let us hope that we can someday find our way out of this existencialist hellhole...

E-mails are usually not retrievable once they've been sent, unless you use AOL, and you are sending an AOL e-mail to another AOL inbox, in which case you can "Unsend" the e-mail. If you really don't mind feeling like an ass, you can bounce her reply e-mails back as if the e-mail account you sent it from never exsisted. Lalala.

Well, hopefully you can get some things straightened out when you talk to her Friday. I don't know her, so I can't really get an idea of how she'd react to that, but if she reacts to it badly, then just be sure to apologize and mention (casually) that you were more than a little drunk and she should understand. And if she reacts well, then, well, you're set! Good luck!
