DV Community Elimination Game v.2.0 - Think Thread

To view the last game, click the picture above Yup, the war for last wo/man standing game re-opens on September 23rd. There are a lot more regs, higher post counts, new staff members, cash prizes for the top killer and winner of the game, and not to mention the current Mr. and Ms. Dream Views (Man of Steel and Clairity) will be allowed to make daily..."power moves" within the game. I remember how intense the last game got. The game went from individuals merely "adding" and "negating" another member's points to the forming factions and warring against other factions as they meticulously "killed" off a member for strategic purposes (or spite). Either way...what started out as an innocent water gun fight amongst DV'ers turned into an all out halo-style bloodbath. And you know what? It was FUN!! Aside from all that, how do YOU think v.2.0 can be improved upon? Any suggestions/comments/complaints etc. can all be discussed extensively here. Unchanging rule(s) - You will not be included in the list if your post count is under 1,000. - You can only vote one "+" and one "-" in the game per day (not necessarily per 24 hours ). - You cannot vote for yourself, and more importantly...NO suicides. - No adding yourself or anyone else to the game. Period. - Unfairly tweaking scores etc. will get you banned from the game. Changes - Cash prizes awarded to "Top Killer" and to the winner of the game. - Winners of v.1.0 (Man of Steel and Clairity) are allowed "double negging privileges" per day but, their single "+" privilege stays the same. They also start out with 20 points as opposed to the typical start out of 10. (I can smell the bribery from a mile away..) - Join date rule N/A. - No staff/member division line. ~ Courtesy nN - "Begin" and "End" lines added for easy of vote tallying. ~ Courtesy Ynot - Revenge vote added. ~ Courtesy Fableflame ************************************************** * Some memorable quotes from the last game. No way let's prolong it! .... Unless we can do another round once this is finished. Damn I'm addicted to this game! Pain wracked Jeff777's body as he opened his eyes. Nearly unconscious...he audibly made out what seemed to be a large mob of people screaming "Crucify him!, crucify him!" As Jeff's glazed eyes visually came back into focus...he looked out and saw angry people with torches, pitchforks, and rocks screaming "Kill him! kill him now!" The sky burned with the fiery glow of crimson as thunder roared and the mighty winds howled. Jeff tried to move his hand but could not...a vision flashed before his eyes of his loved ones nailing his hands to a 10 foot tall cross. His shoulder length sweat and blood drenched hair strands dangled before his face as his head hung with grief. Oneironaut: 777... -cough-.... Jeff looked up and to his right. What he saw grieved him more. He saw his good friend Oneironaut hanging on a cross as well... Oneironaut: Jeff...I will most likely perish before you pass away from this feeble plane of existence... Jeff continued to listen to Oneironaut with a heavy heart. Oneironaut: Jeff...I only ask that you allow me admittance into your castle up in the clouds. Jeff mustered up enough strength and raised his head to gaze at Oneironaut. 777: Truly I say unto you, today you shall be with me in paradise. Jeff looked on past the screaming angry mob wanting him dead and upon a mountain top, not too far off. Upon it he saw a figure in a black hooded robe. The figure pulled back his hood revealing his totally black eyes. He was souless, merciless and was that which the people I loved embraced at this time. Little imp-like demons with wings danced around him as he cracked a smirk. As he turned to walk away with his demonic cherubims...I noticed a marking on his sleeve. It read "nn". The nameless one...he who shall not be named. Forgive them, Jeff, for they no not what they do. Do not let them see you despair. Instead, look down upon them in resilience. Show unto them the faces of the honorable, and pray only that their children grow to know the same righteousness and iron will of the men whose deaths their parents so applauded. ...See you on the other side, my brother. I heard a few things about the last game. Unfortunately, I wasn't a member at the time. How did people go about getting other people to give them points?

Ahh. This again. happy birthday :3 I await the 23rd with eager anticipation. I say the previous format was near flawless, and let players use the game as much as possible. I think there should be very few changes here. I think I'd prefer the staff and community towers removed, it might be less messy that way, and also prolong gameplay. Thoughts thoughts

Bribes, promises of sexual favors, campaigns, promises to reciprocate the vote, promises to join a particular faction etc. I think those are the ways I remember off the top of my head.

Edit: Had to fix mos's and clairity's privileges. They can't vote ++ and -- per day, they can vote + and -- per day. They will also start out with 20 points. I said this in the last game but remembered wrong.

I think the winners should have a disadvantage if anything. Otherwise they'll just win again.
